Shoman Interiors Design Philosophy:
Feel right at home. Manjula Shoroff, owner of Shoman Interiors LLC, wants clients to feel right about their spaces, décor, colors, and design budgets. She gets to know her clients’ personal lifestyles, needs, and tastes, and uses her design, architecture, and engineering expertise to create simple, luxurious spaces without spending a fortune.
A-to-Z approach. Manjula’s passion for all aspects of home design--from first concepts to finishing touches—give her clients a consistent presence throughout every project, and ensures her meticulous standards are met at each step.
3-D design. Whether residential or commercial, Manjula's designs are concept-based, emphasizing form and function. Her 3-D renderings of design ideas give a better understanding of how spaces lay out. Her unique design platform allows for the addition of virtual layers for color palettes, furniture arrangements, design details, flooring, lighting, and window treatments.
Outside influences. Manjula’s appreciation for the Northwest landscape she lives in is reflected in her signature style: earthy, warm, organic, and elegant, with unexpected pops of color. Her art background offers her an expert eye for accessorizing any surface, from tabletops to walls, and her love of Indian textiles and ornamentation inspires her to blend in hints of exotic elements.
Broad perspective. After graduating with honors from Bellevue College’s Interior Design program, Manjula earned an Associate degree in Art and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Clark Atlanta University. She worked for 9 years as a Software Engineer, and then returned to college for her Associate degree in Interior Design.
Real-life inspiration. As a busy mother of two teenagers, Manjula has perfected the art of creating a home that’s beautiful, comfortable and works for an active family. She builds that perspective into all her family home designs.
